Liftgate won't unlock with remote

I have a '01 Sport, my liftgate won't unlock with the remote. Works fine with the key, but nothing happens when I unlock the car with the remote. Thoughts or suggestions?

No, it doesn't unlock with any button, only the key.

I'd say it's a wiring prob or solenoid in the lift gate. Pull the cover off and check to see if you're getting power to the solenoid, if you're not start going the other way. If there is power I'd say it's the solenoid.
