Ok. I know the topic of lifting a late model explorer has been discussed in great lenghts but I have a idea. I know that the torsion bars for that are on the 97 Explorer are not the highest rated ones. If I ordered new ones that are longer and stronger will that give me a few inches of lift in the front? And then by either taking an add a leaf in the back or shackels (which I do not quite know what they are) to level it out. I'm not quite sure if this will work. Has anyone tried this before? If so how much has it costed ya?
