I've been away for a while, and don't have a computer right now but I had been thinking about putting more lift on my truck. If I did SOA in the rear what could I do for the front to give a comprable lift?

Has anything come available since I have been away? I did a quick search and found nothing.

If I got the rcd 4" kit would that work with the tt and shackles? I have heard yes but have heard it's not recommended. Thanks, hopefully I'll get to a computer to chekc on this soon. haha

The TT wont work with the RCD lift b/c it changes your front suspension to coilover and you lose the torsion bars. I still havent been able to figure out if it is 4" or 5.5" There was some talk about it being adjustable. The shackles will still work but you will be high in the back b/c the SOA should get you about 5" of lift.
hope that helps

yes, thanks, just dissapointing :(

It's all to damn expensive. I am just saving for D60 swap (front and rear) So by the time I have all the $$ I need for that it will be 2020 and I will probably not have the X. :(

I feel that, I'd love to get 36s on my truck and the onbly thing stopping me is how the hell I could get the front high enough.

How about the 5.5" Superlift?

I'll have to check that out, I didn't know they made a 5.5 superlift for my generation, I'll search around later, being busy sucks

superlift does make a lift for yours. Not as expensive as teh RCD lift is expected to be but from what I hear and have read about both, the RCD should be better. $500-1000 I dont know? I am not touching mine anymore until I get enough $$ for a SAS and know how to do it right. ThenI can fun 40s or something

D60 front and rear? wow thats alotta money right there

i got a compuiter agian and been researching all day, and i come to find i could drop around 2 Gs on this RCD lift to fit 36s and have parts break left and right from extended wear or drop lots more and do a solid axle swap, so i guess i'm screwed unless i run accross big $$$

red you can do the 4" superlift for your gen up front... which moves all your stuff down... and then adjust your tortions up to level it out to match the soa... alot of 2nd geners have done that.... so with about 8,5 inches of lift... you could run 35's or 36's with fierglass or major trimming.

yes, that is an option, i'm very doubt ful on how my ifs will hol up with 36s thogh and that's my goal, whatever, if i get the $$$ i'll give it a shot
