I would like to lift the rear of my 2000 X about 1 1/2 inches without making it ride any stiffer. With the axle over the single leaf are my options limited? Thanks for your help guys!

Nope just interchange your mono leaf with some leafs off a 4 door explorer which should help and possibly shackles depending on if this gives you enough lift or not Oh and welcome to the site
