I was going to order a lighted emblem from JC Whittney tonight but then I read the last thread about them and thought I had better ask before I blow 35 bucks. Has everyone had trouble with them......not installing them but blowing out and stuff like that? Just thought I would ask before I bought one. Thanks

I've only had mine for a few months, but I haven't had any problems with it yet (knocking on wood). I get a lot of compliments on it too.

I first got lighted emblems about 1.5 years ago. I put one on the front and the back. After about 6 months the back light went out, and I got a new one for free from the place where I bought them. (I got it for free, but I also had to wait for it for about 2-3 months, but that's another story). I put the new one on the back, and all was good. Until about a year's time had past since I originally got the emblems, the front one went out. Its been out for quite a few months now and I don't think I'm going to get another one to replace it. IMHO, they look really nice...I get a lot of compliments on them, but they don't last long.

I bought them... one for the front...and 2 days later went out... I returned it for a front and rear... and 3 days later those went out... They looked cool but suck!!!!

Good

I give them a thumbs up I bought one from a guy here and it was great the hardest thing I did was mounting, I wanted it in the center of the grill, so I fought with it for a while, but it has been through hell and high water (water twice) and is still glowing great, and like mentioned before gets lots of attention!!!

They sound cool

Matt, I got it from a local auto custom shop, that gets a lot of their products through Keystone Automotive (not sure if they haave a site). You can also check out Dead Link Removed To find out what size you need, measure the width of your emblem.
