Not sure if it belongs here or Performance Lighting - but it's for my 04 so I'll post here.

I can't seem to talk myself into a bull bar or anything but have still considered a set of 100w lights for the times when I would like the extra light for whatever reason. Has anyone done? Does enough light shine through the stock grille to make it worth it? I was thinking of just 100w in hopes to not melt the grille either.

I just can't talk myself into a bull bar or anything on mine. In my opinion, Eddie Bauer is more luxury, not offroad haha Any thoughts are appreciated :)

IMO a chrome bull bar with the EB tan trim is a very nice combo. Look at the Westin ultimate bull bar, it looks really classy.

And anything with a ford powerplant, and a 4wd Hi button is off road ready :D

if you can find pictures from ghoster here on the site, he did a billet grill and through behind the grill 2 HUGE fog lights. It looks really good and super clean.

Also i agree with you that the EB looks clean with nothing on it...

well i couldnt find ghoster's post but here is another members explorer with the fog lights behind the grill http://www.explorerforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=228218

i had i beleive 6 inch slim hella lites behind my grill for a long time. i didnt run into any issues besides mounting them takes alot of work and fabing to get a sturdy mount. they didnt melt the grill or anything and the light passed just about right through. i wish i still had pics but idk i might have to look
