Lights go on in Drive and radio goes off???

That is exactly what happens on my 2003 Ford Explorer Sport. Worked the day before yesterday fine, now it is doing this. Nothing changed. In P, R or N with the lights on the radio works, as soon as it goes to a forward moving gear (D, 1 or 2) and the lights are on, it shuts the radio off. If the lights are off the radio works fine in all gears. Any thoughts?
