Back-up lights on in drive

Hi All - my backup lights do not go off when I shift from reverse to drive. They remain on in all the forward gears. They go off when in park. Any Ideas? Thanks Ron

You either have a bad reverse light swirch in the transmission or you have a short in the wire.

My opinion just through a switch on it and manual turn them on and off.
but that me
