Hi!

I am going to mount rear facing lights on my roof rack.
For us as working lights and reversing lights.
It's dark on the hunting grounds in the early mornings!

The mounting of the lights are no problems but I don't have any solution how to get the cables to the roof.
I don't want to drill thru the body.
The car is 99' Explorer

Any ideas? Pictures?

Best regards

Go through the 3rd brake light housing. You will still need to do a little drilling but a dab of silicon will seal it right up.

i want to add a light rack to the front, i never thought about going through the third brake light... INGENIOUS!!!

LOL

When i did mine i just went down to the side window since my is only two door, worked pretty well except just the little wire sitting there. If i ever decide to rerun the wire i will just drill through the roof and use a rubber grommet and some silicone to seal it up.

hell i had a cb and the antenna wire running on the roof i just ran it across the roof and above the windows down to the cb.
