Lights to toggle switch?

How do i run neon lights for inside of vechile to be controled by toggle switch instead of cigarrette lighter adapter?

Probably the easiest way to do this would be to wire up a new power plug (cigaratte lighter) to a relay and switch. This way you have control without splicing into the wiring for the lights. Just a thought.

first, you figure out which wire is positive. I believe that is is the center pin on the plug. You can then tap off any positive wire in the car that is always on or ignition controlled. Get a good ground (negative). The switch should be spliced in somewhere on the positive wire.

well first you gotta cut those friggen plugs off! then wire em up to a hot and ground them somewhere.
