Lights wont turn off??

Hey Ya'll i got a 1993 ford explorer limited with the factory alarm and i just noticed the other day that when i set the alarm either a couple minutes later or hours later the lights and alarm would turn on, so i stoped turning on the alarm and now the lights wont turn off at all even when i dont set the alarm,it also does it when the switch is off so i took switch out and it was still doing it the only time it turns if is if i take the battery out but as soon as i hook it back up they turn back on even with another battery so i know it has to be the alarm ay suggestions on where or what need to do to fix it???? im getting so annoyed at it haha

i just had that prob last night i just left the battery disconnected for the entire night and when i reconnected it they didnt come on

i figured it out the battery had a short in it cuz once i put a different battery it stoped and i put the batter in somthing else the alarm went off in that truck haha

Maybe we knew you would figure it out? Nah sometimes it takes a while for someone to respond. I was going to say, your alarm control could be messed up and keeping the headlights on. Would have to see where it connects into the lights and disconnect it, then reconnect it back into the factory harness. Not sure how it was done. Usually they just plug in.
