Limited slip maybe burned

My 03 Explorer's axle seal was leaking when the axle was taking out the oil was real low I think the limited slip clutch is burnt together when you drive on the dirt you turn and the back wheel jumps when on pavement it makes a loud banging(that's the teeth coming off the gears) I have new gear kit never got clutches can I reuse the old ones

the only way to know is to tear it apart and inspect them, but i recomend replacing them anyway
