When I bought them about a year ago, they said these straps are overstock items or something. But they were trying to get rid of them so they were selling them for cheap.
But dont order online because they dont update their inventory, give them a call instead. They are great people to deal with.
The length of the strap doesn't really matter since all it does is hang around when its not being stretched. I mean as long as its not ridiculously long, it will be fine. But if it is ridiculously long, you can double it up and loop it on itself so that both ends use the same bolt.
You set it up by putting a tab on the axle but leave the strap off. Then you go flex your vehicle one side at a time. While its flexed, hold the strap against the bolt and stretch it up to see where the other end of the strap ends up. Use a marker to make a mark there. THen do the same thing for the other side. Then you can go back and weld in the tabs for the upper mount and you should be good to go.
Okay this is what I mean by doubling up (crude graphics, sorry ). Like if you only have a 28" strap but you need something in the mid teens. Of course you can move the chassis mount up/down on the chassis to fit your needs.

Oh and if your doubling up, rubber band the two together before you bolt it on -- so it doesn't just open apart on ride height and catch on a tire or something. Or use velcro loops or whatever those things are called.
BTW doubling up is used frequently on center limit straps on rock rigs. Such rigs only need like a ~8" strap and since such short straps arent easy to find, they often double up.
