limmiting my gains, performance problems

hi, i've got a 97 GT40 4dr sploder.

it may just be placibo, but every time i put another performance part on, it seems that it works awsome the first day. but then the day after it feels just like it did befor i put "X" part on.

performance mod list:

Ebay open filter intake (stuck as far away as posible from engine)
trickflow 1" manifold spacer
e3 sparkplugs
napa prem wires
true dual exhaust from cat flange, flowtech 2.5 redhots, 2.5" piping, no main converters.

got true dual exhaust put on, it feels a little better, but still doggy.

now with true dual exhaust ive been able to diagnose that the problem lies in the driverside bank of the engine.

without headers the catback is all but worthless. A tune from hensonperformance.com will help a lot too.

hassent felt worthless, feels alittle more willing to get moving and less choked down up top, but its probbly placibo.
