Hey, everyone. I'm interested in compiling a list of aftermarket replacement parts for your Explorer with the promise of a life-time warranty, as defined by the part producer or retail chain.

For those planning to keep their Explorer as long as possible, this list may be beneficial for those who intend to surpass the normal lifespan of an automotive part frequently replaced, i.e. "lifetime warranty" on rotors as long as you own the car.

1. Ultra Gabriel Struts - Autozone.

Oh God..

1. Moog Outer Tie Rods - Rock Auto
2. Moog Lower Ball Joints - Rock Auto
3. Moog Upper Control Arms (w/ Ball Joints) - Rock Auto
4. Rancho RS5000 Front Shocks - Part Source (Canadian Equivalent to Autozone, except more pricey)
5. Monroe SensaTrac Load Adjust Rear Shocks - Part Source

2 Duralast alternators - Autozone
2 sets C-Max front brake pads - Autozone
reman rear wiper motor - Autozone
KYB Gas-A-Just shocks (front/rear) - RockAuto
Monroe 5th shock (Amazon)
Moog upper/lower ball joints and front end-links
Gabriel shocks - AutoZone
and most importantly... 1 Dorman rear wheel stud & nut - AutoZone

2 Duralast alternators - Autozone

Is this on the same explorer? My alternator bearings are starting to chirp/grind a little, and if you've had to have a Duralast alternator replaced under warranty already...doesn't exactly inspire me to choose the brand! ;)
