I need a new locker for the front of my '94 sport--I decided on a Lock Rite (I had an aussie)

Do I get the PTX2310 for non ABS or the PTX2311 for ABS aplications?

Lock Rites sight shows the 91-94 explorer as having a Dana 28 so they are no help.

I need help fast because I am going to Disney in 11 days and need to get the truck back together. Any info would be appriciated.

Chad I figured it out. Go to Lock Rights site at: http://www.richmondgear.com/powertrax/fordtrucklr.pdf but don't look at the wrong sploder info. Look at the Ranger info. The Ranger shows the correct info for the IFS TTB Dana 35 from 87-97 as the 2310S2. The 2311S2 is for the IFS SLA 97 up.

why did you get ride of the aussie?and what did you do with it?the lockright is all most the same locker as the aussie just more expensive and poorer reviews!!

3 sheared pins, and smashed gears on one side. At frost bite it stopped working going forward but would work going backwards.

But if you really really want it I could call him and see if he would dig it out of the trash. The ends of the three sheared pins are gonna take some work to get out though.

Haha no thanks! You call aussie they may replace it for free?

I don't know. I was up at his place working on mine while others was working with him on his. I don't know where he bought it. Or if it was new when he did. And he has a run in a week. The only time I had a Lock Right go bad I had to return it for inspection and then they sent me another. He may not have time for that.

You are welcome to it :-) As Jack said the Aussie is fried. or BARBIE'D as the case may be. :-) I have a new lock rite on order - it is what I am runing in the rear. I actually go tthe new one for $275. I am going to Disney in 9 days so I need it fixed quick!

The old one came with the truck and I put it in about 5 years ago. It works great if you only want to go in reverse... maybe just flip it around :-)

The Ranger kept the IFS TTB till 97 and used the same 35 as the Explorer 91-94.

Except of course for the Hybrid in the Ranger. But thats another subject.

The info for the Dana 35 in the Ranger section of the PDF file is the correct info for the 91-94 X.
