lockdown factory crossbars

Anyone here figured out a way to make the factory crossbars more theft proof? I was thinking that a bolt with same thread but with a torx head on it instead the hand tightiend one might at least make someone think twice. I currently have the cheap ebay crossbars on my truck but I have a set of the factory ones and I would like to use those instead, as I think they look better.

i think using a set of torx bolts would be a good idea. you could even buy the tamper proof torx bolts with the little nipple on them for extra security. i think the chances of a theif walking around with a spare set of tamper proof torx bolts would be pretty slim.

I going to head over to my local supplier of all sorts of bolts tomorrow and see what he's got.
