Actually It'll be more like 2400 for front, rear and the compressor :(
But I am really liking the setup. Any other suggestions on brands?

The Auburn Ected! It is electronic but it is a Limited Slip when unlocked and a full spool when locked. They are pricey though. I really wanted one but they are $800 I believe.

The big plus side to those arb's is the on board air. That would be really nice to have. I wonder if one can fill an air matress with the oba? If so it would be a nice feature if you camp/trail alot.

OBA is almost the same as a regular compressor. you can fill tires, air mattresses and with the right one you can run air tools.

I'll look into the Auburn lockers. I do need something that'll work with a 35"+ tire.

Alot of the guys on here didnt recommend doing a locker on the front when using the truck as a daily driver. But who knows. I was't gonna do the front until the truck became an offroad weekend driver.

i think if you are going to invest in switchable lockers up front there shouldnt be a problem. its the auto and lunchbox style lockers that will cause you turning and handling problems up front. if its switchable, you can turn the lockers off while on the road.

the issue would be cost. to install switchable lockers up front would cost you upwards of 1500 bucks. and thats after you slap the same set up in the rear.

I may just do front lockers for now. Definitely switchable. And by now I mean next summer when I do the SAS. Definitely not doing that twice. The reason I want to do them up front first is that it's usually the front that gets hung up in holes and on rocks and then they can pull the back up over the obstacle. Plus the 2-click thing on the parking brake does a lot when you cant seem to get traction to both tires.

That Auburn Ected switchable is not very good from what i've seen. Its a glorified LS. Its an LS when selected as such, and when it "locks" it just "locks" the clutches in, but over time the clutches slip and it won't fully lock anymore. It never fully locks like an ARB or any regular lunchbox locker.

From what i've seen if you are going swtichable do ARB or don't bother...

runner, if youre gonna get switchable lockers, put them in the rear. you will get much more use out of them out back then up front. then you can always throw a set up front when you have the funds.

10-4 on the rear. So many choices out there...
