Our '97 Explorer XLT is not locking from the driver's side door switch. others work fine so the problem appears to be in the rocker/toggle switch in the door. Have had it to local Ford agent - cost $100.00 to be told it was fixed as no new actuator was available at all. Worked once and now is inoperative again. I believe the switch is at fault not the actuator - although I may have the names wrong.
Switch was 'dicky' for a while and needed to be teased to make it work. Now it is U/S.
Any suggestions appreciated greatly, as would a copy of the appropriate wiring diagram.
Thanks
David
