Alright, I drive a 2001 Sport, and when I lock or unlock my doors, the rear door(hatch) doesn't always unlock. When I shut my truck off, and all the doors unlock, I can hear the lock cycle a couple of times. If I hold the unlock button down on the drivers door, I can make the rear lock cycle through. What could be wrong? Could it be the locking mechanism? Or maybe a relay? I don't have a lot of spare cash to be running around replacing some parts that "may" be bad. I'm worried that my hatch could be staying unlocked, even though I lock the rest of the doors.

i dont know what could be wrong..but if u are leaving the truck un attended for more then 10 mins id run around and check all the doors real quick then just lock them with the key if they are not locked

When my locks started to go nuts it was the battery.

I'm pretty sure it's not the battery. It's only the rear locks that are doing anything.
