longer driveshafts

I have a 91 explorer sport and i need a longer driveshaft. will a four door xlt explorer rear driveshaft work and how much longer would it be?

It all depends on how much longer you need.

What work have you done to your Explorer to need a longer drive-shaft.

I have a spring over in the rear and 5 inch lift in the front. But my driveshaft is only in the yoke about 1/4 inch.

if you cant find longer drive shaft or dont want to have one made. You use a ford mustang drive shaft spacer it work fine. I have one and havent had a problem and cheaper route them the others.

Yea thats what i did. I just got a 11/16 spacer it should be in this afternoon.
