Ha! I found them.. Anyway, this thread can/will pop up next time someone looks for "long* tortion bolts".

M12-1.75 x 100mm bolts, make sure to get grade 5 or grade 8 bolts

Probably a stupid noob question, but do the longer torsion bolts allow for greater lift in the front w/o sacrificing ride? Or just greater lift?

Thanks for the help

Yes they do provide greater lift in the front but too high will sacrifice ride quality and add excessive wear on the cv joints, I have the longer bolt specs that he listed twisted all the way up, by the way my tt is around 4 - 6" and haven't had a problem YET, but I can almost feel it coming :D

After putting longer bolt in mine I could go no higher then 1 1/2" in the front. after that the CV's started binding over bumps.

Also becareful you don't torqe the new bolts too hard. There not that strong  I broke one off while adjusting mine, not fun trying to get a borken off bolt with 5000lbs presure on it :nono:

CV not a problem as I have a 2WD sport. And you can find these bolts at your average hardware store (think Lowe's/HomeDepot)? Thanks for the help!

I would recommend grade 8.8 as a minimum, I believe the stock bolts are 10.9. It is also a good idea to grind the end of the new bolt down to match the stock torsion bolts so that it doesn't bind in the dog leg. It might also help to grease up the end and the dog leg.

After I took out my 4wd stuff up front, in the 3 months prior to my SAS, I ran some 120mm bolts to match the rear SOA. You end up pushing the dogleg up againts the crossmember before the bolt maxes out. However when I was cutting everything out, I noticed that my crossmember had started to crack on that side. But hey, for the 3 months with 4" of TT I was happy :D

I doubt you'll find something like this at HD or Lowe's. I had to search thru an industrial hardware store to find these. Fortunately, I did not need to swap in the longer bolts. The stock ones provided the lift I needed.

When searching it helps if you can spell ;)

Yea, thats the problem.. its spelled both ways numerous times on the forum.

i could not find these at home depot. Maybe I'll try lowes next:(

Where did everyone else find theirs

There was someone who special ordered theres.. but they had to order like 10 sets. They were only a couple dollars a set, so it wasnt bad.. I was looking for the thread but I can find it. I need some also, so if anyone comes up with a place, we should help one another out.

I got mine at the local Napa. They have a very nice selection of metric bolts. Sorry, I'm not going to buy a bunch of bolts and ship them out to you all.

I will try napa tomarrow, Thanks for the tip.

I will not buy any bolts at Home depot anymore they only have grade 2's now :thumbdwn: Worthless!

OSH has a GREAT selection of bolts though ;)

Hows the ride with the cranked up T-bars?
