Doesnt a stout frame mounted sway bar on IFS act the same as a solid axle? Portal axles are cool 
I still think the future is independant, but maybe I am wrong? I dunno....seems all the manufacturues are phasing out solid axles, ad they seem to always lead the trends......off road or not, we have the technology......
