So my friend Caleb is going to sell me his car for a damn good price, and if I don't take it my Mom is going to buy it. A classic like this is my dream car, a Mustang is not what I 100% want but I love it none the less. Caleb is 80% sure he wants to sell it. So depending when he is going to sell it depends if me or my mom buys it. I wont have that kinda money tell the end of the summer my Mom has it now...So see who gets to it first, its a race between my Mom and I. Its a 1967 Coop 289. Pretty eh?

List is 8500 he owes 5200 so some where in the middle. If he does sell it, he is only about 80% sure he is! God I can't wait! He mentioned 6500 for it.

Since the engine was rebuilt, 36K I think? The only plans would be is keep it nice I'm not trying to go balls to the wall with it. God I hope he does not decide to keep it. If he does I will be buying a Vette from the 70d's...Or a Trans Am like Smokie and and Bandit!

I once had an 85 Trans Am. It had T tops, louvers over the rear window, tinted windows, and a 2 tone blue/gray paint job. It was a powerful car, but it needed a lot of work. One odd problem it had was when it would go down to a 1/4 tank, the car would not start unless you got out, and rocked it, then cranked it while the gas was still swooshing around inside of the tank. It always ran very hot. A new radiator, thermostat, and even bypassing the electric fan to run 100% duty cycle didn't make a difference. The A/C didn't work, and the ride was very stiff. Never fly over a pot hole in that type of car! You will feel like you fell out of the car, and onto your behind.

My Mom wants it SO bad haha. I went and took a closer look at it today. It has a little rust on the back by the wheels, few paint chips here and there. Other then at it looks good. Its old its going to have wear and tear on it. I mean it would get restored if me or my mom got it... Heres my moms BoyFriends toy that he has got done restoring.
