I am looking at getting a bug deflector for my 07 EB. Does anyone have one with some pics I can look at. I can't find any actual pics when I look on websites for them. Lets see what you got.

I bought my EX used and it already had a nice bug deflector on it. Hope my pictures can do it justice. It is a Stampede brand.

Since your asking for "opinions" about bug deflectors --

When I was doing my undergrad in upstate NY, I had to drive to the DC area, Boston and Binghamton, NY quite a bit. I thought a bug deflector would help keep the windshield clean during the highway runs during the night. But nope -- I didnt really see any difference in the number of bugs it kept away from the windshield. So from a practical point of view, I dont think they really do anything. ;)

I would have to agree with IZwack that it probably does little for the windshield. However I can tell you that it helped quite a bit on my Escape and damage to the hood from rocks and bugs.

It also looks because the hood/windshield is already angled so much, the bug deflector wouldn't really do anything. It helped on mine, but I had a shorter hood and less aerodynamics.

I don't like them because on the 4th gens there is a chrome strip that goes along the front of the hood and the bug deflector covers it up. I like chrome and although the grill on the 4th gen is all plastic, its still chome. I would take one of the chrome bug deflectors but they are really expenisve.
