looking at XLT, 2015 or 2016?

Hi;

I'm looking at the Explorer xlt, with back up camera, factory hitch, maybe leather.

Currently have honda oddyssey, but need to get rid of it as it needs more work than it cost. I had a AWD/4WD previously and wanted another vehicle with all wheel drive, 4WD. I read a posts asking why the explorer does not have better head lights, that they are not bright enough or does not eluminate far enough compared to that of Audi, BMW etc..

Are there any other serious concerns with the vehilcle and should i wait for the 16 or go for the 2015 model?

I have not had an American built car in years. just looking for input. pros and cons. there is no major change in the new model, I don't think.

Front end has a slightly diff look in the 16. Not a make or break IMO.
If you were going with the base engine that has been improved and if that were the case I would say get a 16. Otherwise if you were getting anything other than the small engine in the 15, that would be your best deal I think.

Quite frankly, the lights aren't that bad at all. I have a 2014 XLT and I have yet to have a problem with the headlights. If it was me, I'd opt for the 2016. Otherwise you are buying a year old vehicle.

And, IMO, the XLT is the best value in an explorer. Otherwise, you are paying $50,000+ for add on features.
