95' Eddie Explorer
I just built myself a fals floor in the back of my 95 explorer just having one small problem. I tried grounding it to the two bolts at near the tail gate of my explorer but it doenst seem to be working. Im going to try and sand everything down later today and see if it works. I would like to know if you all have an ideas where to put my ground. THe rear seat bolts are not an option to far away. CHris

#1. Your sig need to be six lines or less, this is not a suggestion but a requirement. The mods will shorten it for you unless you comply, just trying to save you the trouble :D

#2. Scrap off any paint on the grounding point, both sides if you can get to it. You could take one of your back panel off and find a point there. Or you could just run a new wire from the battery.

thanks for the sig i changed it, didnt know. anyonw else with some grounding info, you think just a real goot sanding will fix the problem.

Yes, pretty much anywhere back there should work once you sand it well. I have two ground points, one for my amps and one for my cap... One if by the passenger-side wheelwell, the other is up by the passenger seats, right between the two of them (I know that is too far for you, but I am just giving examples). Just sand it down, and then I used self-tapping screws that I siliconed over once they were in and connected and conducting electricity.
