looking for computer to PC link

I've been searching for a PC link to my diagnostic port since I built my Carputer, I know they exist, but I still haven't found a decent setup that works with a 96 explorer V8... any ideas where I could look next?

Are you looking for software/hardware to hook your carPC to your OBD-II port?

I use www.obd-2.com's software/hardware and it works great.
