I'm thinking of getting a set of SSR's this week and was just curious of what everything who has them thinks of them both on and off road. What kind of handling are you getting while on the road, both dry and wet. Any input you have would be great.

Sorry about the spelling of Swamper in the topic. Also sorry this is in the wrong spot. Leave it to a rookie to mess up.

I will move this to the Tire and Wheel forum.

I bought the SSR 31x10.50's and think they are a great tire. I've put about 3000 miles on them and they are hardly wearing, whereas I know a guy that bought thornbirds a little after me and they are showing lots of wear. The only thing I don't like them for is sand... they dig too fast. In the mud they perform excellent, slinging mud a long way. They drive fine on the road too, not much different from the little 235/75's I replaced. All in all, I am very pleased with the tire... unless you are going to run a lot of sugar sand I would definitely buy them! They cost me about $630 from National Tire & Wheel for the 4 tires.
