Doesn't seem like there are many options other than making it myself. Any suggestions?

You're in San Diego? That's pretty much the best place (with all of SoCal) to find places to custom build one for you!
I suggest you gather some pics of bumpers on other vehicles that you want yours to look like, then look around for someone to fab it. Practically every other person in east county fabs in their garage, lol. I found someone out there to fab mine using craigslist.
IMO, it really wouldn't cost much more than if there was an aftermarket bumper available. Unless the aftermarket one was cosmetic only.

Ya, I just wanted the easy way. My Dad can fab anything in San Luis Obispo so I will take it up there. Thanks for the reply

Another option is to find an aftermarket bumper for another brand that has the same width as your Ex, and just redo the mounting points.
I saw some nice front and rear bumpers on a FJ Cruiser today, those might work.
