I'm trying to decide on a good black powdercoated brush guard for my 99 explorer but can't seem to find any pictures. Price wise I've been looking for either a WAAG or a Manik. Anyone have pictures on their X?

I think I really like the WAAG, but ideally I'd like to find one that went with the contours of the headlights... \__/ rather than I--I .. if that makes any sense

I think the Maniks for our years (99-01) have what you're looking for. I like that design too.

westin does follow grill countours, can't remember if WAAG does for your 99 - but it doesn't for my 97. NOTE: Actually - it doesn't look like the 98+ does either if you look at the first pic Arnie posted.

Westin sucks for ground clearance though it goes under the plastic skirt instead of through - but is much easier to modify for a body lift.

On the other hand, Westin nerf bars are far superior than the waags - again fr a 97 - seems they change between model years quite a bit. The Westin bars are frame mounted and the WAAGs are only weakly body mounted. (Ask me how I know :D )

Not the best angle, but here's a decent pic of my WAAG:
