Hey all, have 2003 4wd explorer xlt 4.0 v6 flex fuel. Had to pull the rack and pinion to replace the high pressure line ( was so corroded couldn't get it out while in the vehicle ). Anyway finally got it out but the 2 bolts that hold the "L" bracket to the frame on the bottom side of the pinion were so corroded they were just spinning (nut with square clips corroded to the bolt inside frame). Anyway, the only way to remove them was to cut them off with my cutting wheel. Anyone know the part numbers for the nut w/clip and bolt so I can try to order replacements?

Take your complete vin number and enter it at the link below. It will give you the part numbers your vehicle came with. It's helped me get a few parts I needed for my Explorer that I just bought. Go to steering then steering gear, pump and related components it will show the part numbers or give you the sizes you need to pick up at your local hardware store.
