Lost all gears in transmission, no codes!!

I was leaving my apartment wednesday and my truck had no power in first gear. It lasted about 1/8 mile. After that I came to a stop and my truck was in neutral and I had no more gears. No warning lights on the dash. I had the transmission rebuilt a year ago last september by the dealer because I lost 3rd and 5th gear. It has made it about 20,000 miles. I called the dealership and spoke with the mechanic and he said it could be the solenoid, loss of compression, or broke a rod. It hasnt had any problems since they rebuilt it. Any suggestions would be appreciated?! FYI 03 4x4 v6

What ended up being the problem? mine did the exact same thing no gears and no codes right now and beyond stumped!

Start by verifying there is enough fluid in the transmission.

That is what my 05 did. Mine was a grenaded impeller. It was in pieces. I wound up with a reman with warranty . It gave no indication that it was going. Came home from work and parked it. Went to go to work the next morning, put it in reverse and it didn't move. Put it in drive, nothing.
