1995 OHV - I seem to be getting plenty of noise but very little power... getting a 332 code - know that EGR has been cut-off - could that be a reason for loss of power? I have disconnected IDFPR and EGR sensor and no change.

backfire when I take intake tube off... ???

thanks,

what kind of noise is it? could it possibly be a locked up fan clutch, which would give off a very loud noise and would slow down the accessories on the motor and feel like a loss of power. can you spin the fan blade by hand? is it difficult or stuck?

it's not the fan... although it sounds like that. It's the kind of noise that you get when it's very warm outside and you first start the truck... it usually goes away. Seems that this one is kind of stuck.

Like I said - EGR is all in pieces - tube has been cut-off - I have no idea where to plug it in even if I got it.

Well, I have replaced the entire intake manifold (upper) since the one on the engine was off a 91 OHV which worked but there was no place to plug in the EGR tube.

I did install it complete with all the sensors and complete EGR... still no change. Engine revs, makes a lot of noise... like with a fan and no change.

I got some fuel through the vacuum line comming off the FPR... into the intake. Is this normal>

I'll swap a PCM tomorrow... see if that helps.
