Loud Chattering between 2500 and 3200 RPM

I have a strange chattering sound coming from under the hood when in gear it starts at 2500 rpm and stops between 3000 and 3200 rpm. anyone have any clue what this could be?

its the timing chain. ford knows about it, there not doing anything.

Use : oil with additives for vehiles over 75000 miles and the noise will diapear.

You could also check the belt tensioner.

i have almost the same thing as well

Except mine sounds more like a rattle and it happens at about 3200RPM.
