I have searched and not found anything that sounds exactly like what is happening with my truck. It is a SOHC 4.0 135k miles. The vibration/sound starts at about 2500 RPM and continues as I accelerate up to around 3500 and seems to smooth out. There does not seem to be a loss of power. It is not speed related as far as I can tell so I think it is in the engine. Anyone have anything similar? My truck has a manual transfer case so the front driveshaft does not turn and the D44 has lockouts that are unlocked so there is nothing in the front end that could be causing this. The timing chain TSB was done but it always had the startup rattle then fades quickly as soon as oil pressure builds. This vibration is there regardless of engine temp.

Thanks in advance for any help, I am hoping this is not the end of this engine.
