I am having a mechanic look at it tom, at 9am, he said the part was 70 bucks and the labor would be 65 an hour, is that about right?

Yes, JoJoGirl, that price for the part is about right for typical Ford dealers, and so is the cost for labor. This IS something that could have been done yourself in all of about 15 minutes to replace the part since there are no special tools or adjustments needed. Unfortunately, nearly all dealers go by a standard job cost book and even if it took their tech 5 minutes to do, they would charge you whatever the book said that the job called for.
