Hopefully it was just a glitch/fluke in the system, but while driving near idle in a park, about 10 MPH, my low oil pressure warning came on. I pulled over immediately and shut the car off. Checked the oil level which was normal, and decided to try restarting the car.

It fired up fine and the warning was gone. Drove home the 8 or so miles and took it easy but everything seemed fine. Anyone else ever have this happen before? Not a confidence booster thats for sure as I have only ever seen that light one time in any car i've ever driving in the 15 years i've been driving...

Take it to the dealer and have them pull the code it tripped asap.

Mine did it once close to purchase date. Wife was idling at a McDonalds.. took it to dealer with light on and couldnt find anything. Pressure was fine, oil quantity was fine. They couldnt figure it out.. Reset the light and hasnt happened again. 2 years and 46,000 miles..

Id wait to see if it happens again but that is me.

My time in the military always taught me to turn it off and turn it back on and see if it fixes it. It's amazing how many things get fixed this way :D
