Was driving in to work this morning, got about a mile from home & was waiting at a light.
Alert popped up on the screen indicating low engine oil pressure & little red oil can at the top left of the cluster screen.

Pulled over once through the light, took a minute to find the dipstick, engine has oil in it.

Restarted the engine & finished my commute without issue & no return of the alert.

Any common issue to be aware of regarding oil pressure? Maybe a 1 time fluke?

First I've heard of it. Might not hurt to have it checked.

Going to check the oil now that it's settled & make it's properly filled.
If it pops up again, I'll make a call to the dealer. Have them check the grainy camera image as well, while it's still under warranty.

You just bought this, correct? Ford dealer? Possibly they changed the oil and didn't use a motorcraft filter? Rare instances of faulty check valves in filters. Would still worry me enough to at least make an inquiry at dealer.

Correct, new to me, about 2 weeks now.
Dealer isn't completely local, but may reach out to them & see if they can rectify/check it out.

Just went & checked the dipstick now that it's sat for a bit. No oil visible on the stick.
Called my salesman & he's looking at the svc history to see/confirm that they did an oil change prior to listing it.
Worst case, I can run to the nearby WalMart & get a quart of Motorcraft 5w30 & top it up, assuming that's what they used when they did it. Not sure the effect of mixing oil types if it's not.

I myself would ask that they come and get it to then inspect that there isn't damage or leaks. Not sure if I would add oil and then drive. Might be hard to tell there is a leak with the covers on the underside. I sure wouldn't be happy about this.

Personally I'd ask the dealer to come pick it up on a flat bed. Hopefully it should be covered under the power train warranty.

I added a quart & that put it just a bit over the full dot on the dipstick.
Will keep an eye on it over the next couple days & if it doesn't go down I'll assume that they just mis-filled when they did the LOF pre-sale.
Dealer didn't have someone available to come pick the car up & leave me a loaner, and I didn't have the time to take 2 hours out of my day to run it down there.

I would ask the dealer for a free courtesy check and fill of all fluids, and a session on the hoist to have a mechanic check for oil leaks. If they can’t even fill the oil properly they may have missed other issues.
