Low range not working

Hi can anyone please help me how to solve this problem of mine, i tried searching but i couldnt get the right answer....

My low range 4wd not engaging, i can hear it click under my dashboard soon i turned the 4wd knob into low but still not going into low range. My high range works perfect but im strugling to find out what procedure i can do to check what causes this problem, honestly i dont know where to start checking.

Please help i need this sorted...

Are you doing this?

Shifting from 4WD AUTO or 4WD HIGH to 4WD LOW
1. Bring the vehicle to a stop.
2. Depress the brake.
3. Place the gearshift in N (Neutral)
(automatic transmission) or depress
the clutch (manual transmission).
4. Move the 4WD control to the
4WD LOW position.

thanks mate..! but yeah done that and the low range light came on the dash but not engage on low range gear, its actually goes into high range......

if thats the case where should i start checking the problem? what controls which?

PLEASE CAN ANYONE HELP ME....?

conclusion..... i replaced my "SHIFT MOTOR" an its all good, thanks for all your help...!
