I had my x at the dealer today to have the front end alignment done. I got to talking with the tech and told him about the rear ride height problem i've been having. The back end on one side of my x is lower than the other. He said that it probably was a weak spring since i've been towing alot lately. He said nothing really i can do except to replace the spring(which is what everyone here already told me). I also pointed out that the front end sat alot higher than the rear and i thought it looked bad so he said "no problem". He lowered the front end by adjusting the torsion bars which corrected all of my ride height problems, and made the truck look ALOT better. Afterwards he did my alignment and it is dead on now. So, my question is....will having my front end lowered (about 1inch) hurt anything? I have an AWD x so i wasn't sure if there would be anything for me to worry about, or keep my eye on??? Now both sides of my front end from the ground up to the center of the wheel well measure 33.5inches. The rear measures 32.5inches. I"m really happy with the look now but i want to make sure that lowering it did not, or will not hurt anything? How do my measurements compare to your x's?
