I lowered my sport with the H&R explorer lowering springs. All went well and easy until today when I went to get it aligned. They could not get the front end to come out, was to much negative camber. The back was also to far out to get done. What have people been doing to get this problem solved. Saw a few adjustable bolts for the lower bolts on the front struts. What are you people buying and where and what luck are you having. Also, has anyone done anything for the back camber? All help will be greatly appreciated.

The SHO's also require a camber kit when lowered. That might be what is causing you some heartburn

Confirmed, use the SHO camber kit.

NOTE:
There is not complete thread engagement while using the SHO's kit, but we have used it with success!

+1 camber kit. Never lower without a camber kit.

My explorer sport has been lowered on the H&R Sport specific springs for over 20k miles. Still original tires that are in great shape with even tire wear. I'm assuming they are having trouble with the rear, The bolt that holds the upper control arm to knuckle has the adjustment you need. If you loosen this bolt you can slide the knuckle outwards correcting the camber. We were able to get mine within in factory specs.

Hi all, I just installed steeda springs and steeda OE Replacement struts on my 13 sport. I don’t mean to be stupid but where do the front camber bolts get installed? It looks like through the strut/knuckle is the only place that would impact camber… but I don’t want to assume and screw something up.

Also I assume that you only use one camber bolt per side?

This is the kit I bought: SPC Ford Explorer Front Camber Adjustment Bolts (2011-2019), 81280 - Steeda
