Per a discussion in another thread - http://www.explorerforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=430760
I am getting ready to lower my 2000 Limited with rear load leveling system - aka air ride with some lowering blocks I purchased off of Saleen XP8 2000-0023.
My question is, how should I deal with the load leveling system on the truck. My understanding is that there is a sensor that controls this system and since the truck will be dropped by 1.5 to 2 inches in the rear (and hopefully the same using the torsion bars in the front) perhaps the sensor will need to be adjusted or moved or ???
Does anyone have any experience with this. I would prefer (for now) to keep this system in place instead of going with standard shocks. A while back I seem to remember reading a thread someone about someone doing something similar but cannot find it now using the search.
Thanks in advance.
