I need some help! I want to lower my 1991 Ford Explorer, but I don't know how low I can go, or how to go about it. If anyone knows of a lowering kit available, or if anyone know a way to do this any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

you can only lower it 2" (since its 4x4), are you planing on getting wheels? what size?

I don't know what I'll be able to squeeze in once I lower it. Do you know what I would need to get in order to lower it? I want to lower it and if at all possible put a set of 20's on it. If I can only lower it 2 inches then I should still be able to get 20's under it I think. Any thoughts?

just get the 20's and tires and keep the stock ride height, cuz since its 4x4 it will be a really bad ride, and the front axle will be soo close to the oil pan, i personally do not know this, this is just what some people tell me on this forum
