I installed most of the lowering schiznit yesterday and the shocks and sway bars fit perfectly and the front torsion twist was no problemo. However, I can't drop the rear! The blocks have a hole in one side and a "nub" sticking up on the opposite. The nub fits perfectly into the hole in the axle, and the nub from the leaf springs fits perfectly into the hole in the block.

However, when I try to lift the block into position on the leaf spring the hole is about 3/4 of an inch too far forward. I tried shifting the leaf springs back via the shackle with a crow bar but all I got was a smashed finger.

Has anyone else had this problem and solved it? Do the Explorer Express blocks have a hole in one side and a nub on the other too? 'Preciate the info,

Scott

explorer express blocks do have a hole on one side (leaf side) and a nub on the other (axel side). when i put mine in, we had to finagle them just a little, using the jack to align it up, but we were off by about 1/10 of an inch, not 3/4". if your blocks are from explorer express, they shold fit.

Unfortunately, I got mine elsewhere. Maybe there's something to be said for getting what you pay for (the u-bolts don't seem to fit well either). I'm going to take the other one's back and get the EE kit instead. Thanks,

Scott
