I need to know some sites taht offer lowering kits for my explorer. Also how should I go about reducing the gap inbetween the wheels and the body(I want to make it a quarter the distance)?

the only way to do it is a body drop becuase you cant lower that much with a torsion twist.... you can put blocks in the rear.... explorers were not designed to be lowered... they are afterall trucks.....

you can easily lower it about 1.75" with a torsion twist and blocks. I think Explorer Express has a lowering kit but I don't know what's in it.

It also just decides how much the factory gave you to play with on the front end. I personally only got a little less than 3/4" drop on the front of my X with a torsion twist, and the back is lowered with 1 3/8" blocks. If you want to see some pictures of what it looks like, let me know, and I'll post some. But by next week, I'm going to take my torsion bar out and notch it a little and try to get another inch drop in the front, and replace the back blocks with 2". We shall see. :)
