I did the torsion bar/rear block lowering already, it sits about 2" lower (slightly more in back) and handles like a dream. I actually was able to outcorner a couple of H.D. motorcycles on Raton pass in Colorado. BUT..... I want to go lower, at least in the front. Does anyone make a "kit" to install air bags on the front of a 2 wheel drive Xploder Sport. I have looked under the front end and I know I can make my own mounts and just buy the bags, but a kit already engineered would be a real time saver. After removing the torsion bars, the bag can be mounted where the bump-stop mount is, just cut out the stop mount and weld in a bag mount in its place. It should contact the lower A-arm in the same spot the bump-stop does now. Even better would be if someone made some drop spindles to just bolt in. (Vendors are you listening?) I bet if enough people showed interest in some dropped spindles, some major manufacturing company would make them available. I bet there is a hundred people in this site alone who would buy them. One more thing, is it just mine or does all 4.0 SOHC's run like a bat outa hell! My **** moves and all it has is a owner made cold air pipe with a K&N and owner fabricated "cat-back exhaust (used wifes factory PT Cruiser pipe for driver side, same diameter). I also plan to elongate the holes in the cam sensor to see it I can get a few more degrees timing. Any help or suggestions are welcome.
