95 Eddie Bauer
I have a 95 Eddie Bauer that I purchased about 2 weeks ago. My main goal with the truck is looks (street use). I have no intent to go offroading. Now I'm seriously considering lowering it using the blocks and adjusting the torsion bars. My question is, is this worth the time and money? If it's not gonna be something that's noticeable (looks wise) I don't wanna waste my time/money. I'm not overly conserned with improved handling, but I don't wanna lose a whole lot of ride quality. I will be getting new shocks after droppin it, I know that'll help a bit. Thanks for any help/advise. If you guys need any more info let me know.

Since lowering it is fairly inexpensive, and you dont go off road, I would say go for it. But try and lower it in the rear with shackles and not as big of blocks so your shocks aren't an inch off the ground:D But I like the looks of a lowered Explorer a lot. But I also like them lifted, so I would say yes, do it.

How do you lower with the shackles? Are special parts needed? Anybody have a pic of this method?

Thanks.....
