You could try looking under the dash on drivers side or behind the radio as that is where the main ecu is fitted on my '98 although my lpg ecu is mounted near the battery.
Did the new stat improve your normal water temp?
stat changed and normal temp now, main ecu is on firewall but no lpg ecu in engine compartment, will look under dash and radio, i would of thought it would be more accessible not hidden lol, lost all my lpg when i tried to fit new liquid side filter, seal broke and the manual valve on tank was siezed, bit heart stopping, i read the electric solinoid on tank should cut gas unless i switched on lpg on, i wrong was i...... fitted new filter and seal so going to refill her and take it to have ecu plugged in and system checked etc, when i find ecu
