LSD or Lockers???

whats the difference, and which one should i use. i do mainly highway driving with some trail riding. any recommendations?

Lockers are not very on road friendly, They are hard on tires when used on asphalt, tricky driving when slick out
BUT they cannot be beat off road. LSD are not quite as tough off road, but they do have better road manners.

Selectable Lockers on the other hand do look promising, might be an option for me in the future

We could use more info on your X. Is it 4x4, stock, lifted, big tires, how radical of trails ?

A limited slip is fine for street, mild, medium, and some pretty tough trails. If your not lifted with big tires and do real knarly trails lockers wouldnt be a great investment for you. Most of them aren't very street friendly.
